Award Winning Danik Hook Introduces its Innovative Fender Hook at the International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition and Conference

Boaters will finally get a quick and easy tool to attach and secure fenders to their vessels when Danik Hook unveils its innovative Fender Hook at the International Boatbuilders’ Exhibition and Conference (“IBEX”), in Tampa, Florida, September 19-21, 2017.

The Danik Hook Fender Hook can attach to any boat rail and swiftly raise or lower a fender to the perfect position against any dock or another boat.

“If you like to tie boat lines, this is not for you,” said Daniel Austin, inventor of the award winning Danik Hook product line. “It just clips right on the rail. You don’t have to tie knots or wrap a line around a cleat,” Austin said. “The trigger release that’s at the heart of all the Danik Hook products gives boaters a fast and no-hassle way to adjust and lock down fenders.”

The Danik Hook Fender Hook is made of a tough and durable non-corrosive and non-scratching glass-filled thermoplastic. It will accommodate line sizes ranging from 3/8 to 5/8 inch diameter and railing up to 1 ¼ inch diameter. It can also attach to a one-inch square pontoon railing.

“You don’t have to worry about the fender slipping off in the middle of the night,” Austin said. “You can rest assured knowing the fenders are secure and protecting your boat.”

Danik Hook makes a full range of products which can be used to speedily tie-down or secure anything on land or water. The Danik Hook Fender Hook, however, is intended only for marine use.

“There’s a huge need for the Fender Hook,” said Greg Spangler, Danik Hook national sales manager. “Everyone Dan and I know has pushed us to create it.”

While it’s designed just for boat fenders, Spangler said he won’t be surprised by what other uses people will inevitably find for the Danik Hook Fender Hook.

The Danik Hook Fender Hook will initially be available in white or black for $24.95. It will soon be available in other popular colors to match your boat.

The introduction of the Danik Hook Fender Hook at IBEX comes on the heels of the Danik Hook product line being selected as the 2017 winner of the prestigious National Hardware Show’s Retailers’ Choice Award in Las Vegas, NV.

Austin, an avid boater and water skier, originally created the first Danik Hook to quickly and easily secure anchor or boat lines without ever having to tie a cumbersome knot. It soon became apparent, however, the Danik Hook could be used any time something needed to be tied-down.

Customers use Danik Hooks to anchor Easy-Ups; or to tie-down truck or trailer tarps; or to secure RV awnings, campsite tents or park and backyard hammocks. Danik Hooks are strong enough to let hunters hoist big game for field dressing, and nimble enough to hang a piñata at a child’s birthday party. If you need a rope or bungee cord to tie-down anything ranging from a few ounces to 8,000 pounds, Spangler and Austin say the Danik Hook makes the task a snap.

All Danik Hooks have a one year warranty. People can explore the whole product line and find the nearest retailer by going to DanikHook.com

Danik-Hook maintains its own Manufacturing facility in the San Gabriel Valley of Southern California. Austin made the first prototype in 2007 out of his desire to increase his time skiing on the Colorado River. He then modified the prototype to make it more functional and adaptable to an array of boats. Once he was happy with the anchor line hook’s design, he named it after his daughters Danie and Nikki.
